Welsh lessons in Dublin / Gwersi Cymraeg yn Nulyn

Draig Werdd is pleased to be able to announce that following the success of the first two classes a further Welsh language class for people that wish to progress beyond the beginner’s level will be held in Dublin this spring. The class will be taught by Richard Morgan and will take place in Gael Linn, 35 Dame Street, Dublin 2 on Tuesday evenings from 5.30pm to 7pm.

The course will assume that students have substantially completed the Cwrs Mynediad book by the Welsh Joint Education Committee and have also made significant progress on the Duolingo Welsh English course that is available on-line and also on a smartphone app. The Duolingo course has now reached 1 million users. The course book to be used will be the Cwrs Sylfaen (South Wales version), which is available on the internet via Amazon, Book Depository, GWales and other websites. The course will also include well-known poetry, hymns and short passages of text as appropriate.

The class begins on Tuesday the 10th of April and will run for 10 weeks. The cost of the course will be €80 for full-time students, €100 for Draig Werdd members and €120 for all others. Classes will be limited to a maximum of 8 participants.

England v Wales 10/02/2018 Lloegr v Cymru

We will be meeting once again at Doheny & Nesbitts, Upper Baggot Street, Dublin 2 on Saturday 10 February for Wales’ next match in the Six Nations against England.  Kick-off is at 4.45pm.  We have a reserved area upstairs but if possible, please arrive by 1pm prior to the start of the preceding game between Ireland and Italy, so that the space is not taken.  All welcome to join us – look for the red shirts!

Byddwn yn cwrdd unwaith eto yn nhafarn Doheny & Nesbitts, Upper Baggot Street, Dulyn 2 ddydd Sadwrn 10 Chwefror i wylio gêm nesaf Cymru yng Nghystadleuaeth y Chwe Gwlad yn erbyn Lloegr. Mae’r gêm yn dechrau am 4.45pm. Mae gennym ardal neilltuedig i fyny’r grisiau ond byddai’n dda os gallwch chi gyrraedd erbyn 1pm cyn dechrau’r gêm flaenorol rhwng Iwerddon a’r Eidal, er mwyn i ni gadw’r lle ar gyfer gêm Cymru. Croeso i ymuno â ni – edrychwch am y crysau cochion!

Wales v Scotland 03/02/2018 Cymru v Yr Alban
