The Welsh Government hosted a St. David’s Day reception in the rotunda of the National Museum of Ireland – Archaeology on the evening of  Thursday February 21st 2019 to mark St. David’s Day and to launch a new partnership between the National Museums of Wales and Ireland.  In attendance were the directors of both museums as well as Lord Dafydd Elis Thomas AM representing the Welsh government, Sean Kyne, Irish government chief whip and Minister of State for the Irish Language and the British ambassador Robin Barnett.  Entertainment was provided by Gwyneth Glyn and Twm Morys from Wales.  The event was organised by Kathryn Hallett of the Welsh Government office in Dublin.

Cynhaliodd Llywodraeth Cymru dathliad Dydd Gŵyl Dewi yn Amgueddfa Iwerddon – Archaeoleg ar nos Iau Chwefror 21ain 2019 i nodi dydd Gŵyl Dewi ac i lansio partneriaeth newydd rhwng Amgueddfeydd Cenedlaethol Cymru ac Iwerddon. Yn bresennol roedd cyfarwyddwyr y ddwy amgueddfa yn ogystal â’r Arglwydd Dafydd Elis Thomas AC yn cynrychioli llywodraeth Cymru, Sean Kyne, prif chwip y llywodraeth Iwerddon a’r Gweinidog Gwladol dros yr Iaith Gwyddeleg a’r Llysgennad Prydeinig Robin Barnett. Darparwyd adloniant gan Gwyneth Glyn a Twm Morys o Gymru. Trefnwyd y digwyddiad gan Kathryn Hallett o swyddfa Llywodraeth Cymru yn Nulyn.
