We had a very successful and enjoyable evening last Friday in our St. David’s Day Party at Scruffy Murphy’s in Dublin, with over 70 people in attendance. As well as being able to see Wales win at rugby (always helps), it was a great opportunity to celebrate our national day by socialising, joining in the singing with members of Dublin Welsh choir and taking home some raffle prizes. If you’d like to see some photos from the evening go to http://www.welshsociety.ie/gallery/.
If you weren’t able to get along for the evening (or even if you were) and would like to celebrate St. David’s Day itself in Dublin, don’t forget that Dublin Welsh choir is launching its new CD celebrating 50 years since the choir’s foundation at 8pm on Tuesday evening, March 1st, at Lansdowne Rugby Club – all are welcome.
Os nad oeddech yn gallu dod i’r noson (neu hyd yn oed os oeddech) ac os hoffech i ddathlu Dydd Gŵyl Dewi ei hun yn Nulyn, peidiwch ag anghofio bod côr Dulyn Cymru yn lansio ei CD newydd yn dathlu 50 mlynedd ers i’r côr gael ei sefydlu am 8pm ar nos Fawrth, Mawrth 1af yng Nghlwb Rygbi Lansdowne – croeso cynnes i bawb.
