The National Eisteddfod of Wales is taking place from 4-12 August at Bodedern in Anglesey, not far from Holyhead. If you’re interested in travelling from Ireland to visit this celebration of Wales and the Welsh language, Stena Line are offering a day return from Dublin to Holyhead for €6.50 and there is a bus available to take you from the ferry port to the Eisteddfod field.
